Recently, the main pre-assembly of the irregular truss space structure project constructed by our company was successfully completed.
►As a complex 3D curved surface engineering project, it features high technical requirements: covering an area of over 2,200 m² with a roof elevation of 8.9 meters, eave structure height of 4 meters, and total steel consumption of 200 tons. Its core design highlight is a 14-meter-diameter circular skylight that extends outward through spiral radial layout, achieving a maximum expansion radius of 28 meters.
►The project innovatively adopted differentiated construction techniques: Both inner and outer ring structures employed rectangular square tube curving technology. The outer ring was formed by precise splicing of 8 custom-made curved steel beams into a circle, while the central ring utilized hot-bending forming technology to achieve high-precision curved surface configuration.
Such irregular space structures impose stringent requirements on component machining accuracy and on-site assembly coordination. The successful implementation of this project has laid a solid foundation for undertaking subsequent high-end customized projects of similar types.
